I was hoping someone might be able to help me with the language pack for the latest version of VB for Brasil language.

I have someone who wants to pay for vBulletin but the only thing holding them back is they want to be sure they will be able to use it in brasil language.

    Thanks

    Obrigado Rodrigo,

    Brazilian Portuguese - Another Translation

    Hi People,

Attached there is another translation, for Brazilian Portuguese.

Most of the help pages are translated (and systmem e-mails too). Although, some administrative tools aren´t available yet.

Just import the xml file from your PC through Admin Control Panel and try out.
    __________________________________________________________

    Hello technoshaman !
Maybe you can try convert using a editor which supports this 'save as' options.
Try to use pspad [opensource] or ultraedit [commercial]
    Tks,

How to convert Language pack to UTF-8?

I have installed the X-trad Brazilian Portuguese language pack, which works fine using codepage 8859-1.

I selected "UTF-8", becuase users ned to be able to respond with characters from both the Portuguese and the Yoruba alphabet, and once selecting "UTF-8" in the vB Control Panel, most non-english characters disappeared.

Can somebody give me a method of recreating the language xml file to UTF-8?

If I open any language file in Dreamweaver, and select UTF-8 the same thing happens, the characters display corrrectly, unti the next time you open the file, and all non-US characters have disappeared.
