  • [3.5.x] Sunburnt Red Style

This style was made using vBulletin version 3.5.4 but should work from 3.5.0 up to it. This is the only place I'm making this style available. If it was obtained elsewhere, it wasn't obtained rightfully.

This is a rather simple design but I made it as an alternative to those who like vBulletin's default layout as opposed to some of the more common graphics-stuffed skins. This is provided by default as a "fixed" style meaning the width of the layout is the same regardless of monitor resolution. It's set to 935 pixels so it'll look best at 1024 x 768 or higher. This style has no template changes but will require a small replacement to the "header" template if you want the included banner to be alligned correctly. The buttons used are mainly from the 2.x vBulletin line and are copyright to Jelsoft.

    Installation Instructions

    1. Download and extract the attached zip file.
    2. Open the "Sunburnt Red Style" folder. Within that, there will be a "SunburntRed" folder. Upload that into your forums main directory, not the images directory.
    3. Go into your Admin CP and navigate as follows.

Styles & Templates -> Download / Upload Styles

Under the Import Style XML File table, click the browse button and navigate on your computer to the file called "Sunburnt Red.xml". It's in the package you downlaoded. Name it Sunburnt Red, assign it a display order and make sure it's set to have no parent style. Click import.
    4. The style should now be installed and selectable.
    5. To fix the way the banner isn't centered correctly, see the text file included called "To Fix the Logo".
    6. Optionally, if you want to edit your logo, the PSD file is included. Instructions for this may be found in the "Using Your Own Logo" text file.

I will attempt to offer as much help and support as needed.
