Blog Update and vB4 Attachment Management

I am still on target to release Blog 2.0.1 next week. You may notice quite a few bugs in the bug tracker, but none of them look serious and so I hope to knock them out in short order.

As for the vB4 Attachment Management demo, I am hoping I have something to show you next week but to be realistic, it won't be ready until the week of Feb 2nd.

I will give you a screenshot of its current state, as long as you realize that it is still in development and missing controls.

I have to say I second that. All original images are highly detailed I have to admit, but personally I think the rest of the layout, including some of the famfamfam icons are a bit too overwhelming.

I’d love to see you guys hire someone like Michelle, or Nick La to continue the rest of the layout and optimize the rest of the css bit.

I think my 80 year old grandmother will be able able to upload an "asset" now, but my regular forum folk are pretty used to the attachment system as-is.

With the current attachment system, if an inline attachment is quoted the image always is shown as a link. I would like to see this behavior be optional, with the choice that allows setting in the Admin CP for either a link or full size image on attachments contained within quotes.
