Selecting a Theme
You can select a theme for your site in two different places at this time. The first is within Site Builder's Style Tab. You can choose the theme your site uses here. Each theme will show an icon and a screenshot when you select it. This allows you to choose a Theme that suits your site better.
The second way to select a theme is through the AdminCP. You can go to Settings -> Options -> Styles & Languages to set the default style or theme your system will use.
Creating Themes
If you're a style developer you can create your own themes for distribution. To do this, you have to put your site into debug mode. Then add a new style. You'll get fields to add a theme icon and a theme screenshot. When you export your theme, these will be included in the XML file as a base64 representation of the image.
Importing Themes
Currently themes are imported during the upgrade process. However if you have a third-party theme, you can import it in the AdminCP like any other style
Editing Themes
One of the benefits of themes are their quick distribution model as such, editing features have been disabled for them. This allows the theme developer to retain control and make sure upgrades work on future versions without template or CSS conflicts. However if you create a Child Style of a theme, you can edit your theme in that style without issues.
